Hello; I just started to get into the N64 emulation scene, and I stumbled across Mupen64Plus.
I have a couple of questions. First, what is the difference between Mupen64Plus, and the version of Mupen64 that I am using right now (0.5.1)? Are these programs both written by the same person(s), or is this a completely different/original project? How would I benefit from using Mupen64Plus over what I'm using now? Is Mupen64Plus "better" than Mupen64 v0.5.1? Is it "better" than the latest Project64 build?
I downloaded the most recent (not nightly) 32-bit .zip for windows and double-clicked the only .exe in the folder. For a brief second, a command-prompt appeared, then disappeared. So I'm assuming that for some reason this is a command-prompt operated program?
