Well, I just read that England will soon be celebrating Queen Elizabeth's (excuse spelling) being queen for 50 years. Yay! What an acomplishment. People over here can't even stay married for 10 years and yet she rules a country (even if it is only in title) for 50 years.
PS. Damn lucky Brits probably get a vacation over this too :P

two days off work :D thats why this country is soo cool at times, why may not hav the grandure of america... but we're so us, if that makes any kinda sense, we're origional...
bein in the public eye for 50 years so intensley must have been a hell of a life to live, and i'll take two days off work for that :D

i dont think the queen will like cocaine too much, dunno...i know her grandsons seem to enjoy it (harry potter in particular), unless u meant a different charlie.

Why does England have a queen that doesn't do anything anyway? I mean, I suppose its better than shooting everyone who has any relation to them like the did the Czar in Russia, but ya know it must be a huge drain on taxes and resources.

I think the royal family could have a useful purpose in promoting the UK for business, the arts and tourism, sort of good will ambassadors, except most of the time they go abroad to slag us off!!!

yup, that and the royal family bring in far more in tourism thna they cost... for people liek the japanese who dont have this style of culture its interesting and just because they dont do something you lot like isnt really a reason to scrap them... i think a severe down grading of them is required tho... but how can you do that and still have a soverign?
