I think he means the teacher. Anyway, don't you people from the USA use "vacations" instead of Holidays??

yeah, cos they try to invnt their own language that has clearly been stolen from us

I'm not sure what to say.....
People from the USA should speak Spanish, since we got America first. After that, I don't know what happened in the history, but spanish is only speaken in spain, mexico and some sudamerican countries... Of course, some people from the USA still speak english. But nowadays, spanish is growing, and it's the THIRD most spoken language in the world (First is chinnesse, second is english) YAY

the matter is not who was there first, the matter is what the majority of ppl decided, and that was english.

At the beginning of the 19th Century there was a discussion in the kongress & Senat to make german the official language in the U.S.A (was declined with 1 third to 2 third ), since many citizens of North America had german Roots or came from there....would be interesting if the USA's official language would be spanish or german or netherlands!! ( which would be realistic too)

yeah, they decided on english, changed our language, and take the piss out of us because we speak english how it is meant to be spoken, and some of our words are wrong apparently

In my opinion an english accent (no Cockney or something like that, i mean that upper-class (?????) oxford english) is much nicer than american english(that bubble-gum-britney-spears-style), allthough it's sometimes harder to understand (for me)(......the reason must be that i have much more AE around me: in movies, music, PC Games...)

i dont have any regional accent, maybe only a slightly country rural accent, i suppose i have more of an upper cllass accent, just with r's going on for 10 10 times longer than they should
:hehe:
EDIT: that doesnt make any sense, i am going to bed :!!!:

If you gonna go that far, than they should actually speak swedish, because the vikings were the first to get to north America. Or maybe even some of the bloody Indian language, after all, the Indians were there first, weren`t they?
