can i change the favicon on PJ64?

Changing the project 64 icon

Well, i was able to do it, and the icon on the taskbar is now changed back to the original nintendo 64 logo. It seems like the icon right where it says ( project 64 1.6 ) is still the same, how do i change that?

you don't, otherwise you are modifying a closed source and copyrighted application.

It's okay for his own needs to use a reshacker for example and do whatever he likes to do. He is just not allowed to provide the modifyed application without author permission.
Btw: since when has been icon renamed to favicon? i thought it was a website thingy.

Since never. favicons are for websites. Icons and iconsets are for files. Semantics rule, btw.

Yes, it's the project 64 icon that i was talking about. I found one with the nintendo 64 logo that i want to use, but im not sure how to do it?

Like I already told ya: use a reshacker and replace the original ICON (not favicon, it's for websites) with the one you like.
As long as you keep it to yourself it's fine and you are allowed to do so.

In the resources section of the exe file. Probably it's packed and you have to unpack it. But it all depends on the ressourcehacker you are using.

It seems like the icon has been changed in the latest version and i absolutely love it, so the problem solved, thanks for the help.

http://rocketdock.com/images/screenshots/Nintendo64.png. It's this icon i want to use instead of the one that comes with PJ64. http://www.chapelofresonance.com/emulation/pj64icon.gif <- this is the one that comes with PJ64 and it's not so good looking.
