Why the hell would you want a GC keyboard? It`s not like there are any fps on it, and it has no online capabilities, and every other game except an fps would suck with a keyboard.
The little screen is nice though. How much time can a GC work when it`s powered by a battery?

Is there a mouse?
If there is, so this keyboard and the mouse is THE ultimate combo for fun controlling!!
It will largely promote FPS companys to create games for the GC.

no I don't think there is a mouse, get over the fact that a console based FPS may not use the "supposed standard" of a mouse and keyboard for movement if it's on a console,
I saw that a while ago.. It's going to be bundled with PS0 as an optional package.. :)
On the DC, it was very annoying trying to play the game, and type an abusive message to blizz at the same time.. ;)

If it were for the X-Box it might serve a good use for pressing Ctrl-Alt-Delete after it freezes.

FPS are much easier to control with a mouse & keyboard.

Have you ever actually heard of an xbox freeze?

Alice isn`t an FPS. Not even by a long shot. Alice is a platformer. And yeah, it plays much better with a gamepad.

Yes. the xbox demo in Toys R US (where i used to work) froze all the time. and also in EVERY sam goody and in every software ect. and we got MANY x boxes returned because of CONSTANT freezing.
also yes it is a matter of oppinion because the key board is to far spread out to fight with different weapons and move at the same time. with the pad i can sellect my weapons and move at the same time. my fingers are on all keys at the same time. cant do that when one hand has to be on the mouse

it depends on the game, FPS' like Goldeneye and Metroid won't really need a keyboard same with Quake since the controls aren't that massive, but for a game like Operation Flashpoint or Tribes 2 a keyboard/mouse combo is a must.
for a game needing quick movements or reflexes like quake or medal of honor, theres nothing to beat a keyboard or mouse

time for me to die i guess.
it's too hard to try to do this
quick this button here now back to this one well ok my right hand is closer and i have to move to dodge this dude here so ill just take my hand off the mouse real l quick OH NO WERE AM I THE CAMERA IS MESSED UP NOW quick move right hand back to mouse ho no i knocked the mouse all the way off the desk while trying to get back to it too fast. now i have to try to move the mouse with my foot for camera angle and then find a way to pick it back up quickly before i OH NO game over.

There is no camera in an FPS.
All you need is to shoot with the mouse, jump with the mouse and change weapons with the mouse. Movment is only 5 keys on the keyboard!
It's TOO easy!! And so nice! :sly:
