No because the xbox live version is not running on an emulator, it is a port to the xbox 360. no amount of emulator tweaks can make a game run that smoothly. I'm fairly certain of this. They hired a studio to port the game over properly, also if it was just emulated I think Nintendo might take issue with it.

Another reason I believe it not to be emulated is their port of Perfect Dark, by the same people that made the XBLA banjo's. I think it'd be hard to argue that this game is running on an emulator.

Master Quest is a whole different kettle of fish because that is emulated, they just edited the rom. it'd take more than an edit of a rom to improve banjo-kazooie the way they did.

Have to agree with ScottJC, it looks to be an enhanced port from what I can see. N64 B-K has a framerate cap built in, so not much you can do to improve things in that regard.
