The Emulator don't run with cheats

My Emulation often isn't really perfect(but it can be a problem of the software) but it never shows a warning. If i start any cheats to play a game I have already done, I get a warning after a few seconds of playing and the emulator goes down.
Is this a problem of my computer or is there anything I can do?
(i was trying to open the site in the thread, i think it was pj64 or something, the site doesnt exist..

Cheats can mess up any game pretty badly, to the point where they sometimes affect the emulator's stability.

Just don't use cheats.
