Hey, as everyone probably already knows the xbox360 has been exploited - "JTAG hack" as of most recent work.

Is anyone here working with the scene to port a N64 emulator for the growing emulation list on 360?? the vast power of the 360 has me looking for a second one to exploit now!

Ported so far:
SMS
SNES
Genesis and the mastersystem

All news at http://www.xbox-scene.com
also good to know, Debian live cd support! http://free60.org

i dont think that the homebrew projects can interface with the 3d graphics hardware in the 360, just write to framebuffer using cpu

In this case software rendering can do the job. Waiting for MAME/MESS ports :) If it is not already ported.

MAME was ported years ago using the XDK, now we can run homebrew on retail consoles it works great

I cant wait for N64/PSX emus, then i'll be happy. I'll be extatic if somebody ports a DC emu

legally?

I'm not into doing anything with my 360 other then store bought games but it would be fun to play around if no chip is required?

Can you head me in the right direction with some scene lingo for getting started? Like if I simply look up "JTAG" will that get me on the right track?

Thanks!
