Blank screen issue after DC bootscreen

Hi,

I have a problem with the latest demul. After the bootup screen of the console and setting the current date, the screen goes blank like in the image below and nothing happens. If i reset demul, the console boots up again and ends up with this blank screen below once again.
What could be causing this and how can I fix this?

Does this happen if you boot up the console without selecting game (i.e. boot directly to the Dreamcast main menu)?

It's is very likely that your Flash file is corrupt. Replace it. Also, don't set the date/time, just cancel that.

I just tried that and I can boot without issues to the menu. I chose "play" there, mounted the game image and now I'm stuck with the same blank screen again.

The image file in dc.zip, 1_01d_01.bin shouldn't be corrupt, as it matches the md5 sum from http://demul.emulation64.com/files/dc.dat.

Then there's something wrong with the disc image itself. Either it's not peoper selfboot image or there something else more wrong with it. besides, the BIOS file doesn't really get corrupted, just the Flash file - and if the Flash file is corrupt, then most if not all games, will not boot.

Are you forced to set the date/time every time you boot even if you boot the image directly without going to the DC main menu?
