Xbox price dropped to 199$....GC will prolly follow since PS2 also made a drop in price....GC could soon cost 149$ or maybe even as low as 99$ (although, that's not gonna happen imo...it would start to compete with the GBA ;) )

Well, I for one hopes that the GC price will drop....

Oh, and look at this:

Really???? I'm stupid for buying my ps2 just before it took the first price drop. I can't get some money back since its been a while since I got it.

common sense suggests Nintendo won't until at least E3, although I'm betting they'd wait until the rush for Resi has died down, which may be one reason behind the price drop, that and Halo

:D I hope the gamecube drops also. I was plannng on getting that first instead of the ps2, but my sister told me to get the ps2 because she could use it to play dvd's:cool:

ps2 can play dvds ...yes but they don't tell you that it is shithouse quality and fails reading half the movies

im happay with my ps2 dvd. i just use a full-pinned rgb scart cable, and action replay 2 to remove the greenish image quality....

I never use my ps2 for watching dvd's. I use other dvd players like the one in my comp or in my living room. I knew from the start that the quality sucked. My sister got mad since I got one so easily when she was trying to get any dvd player for herself.

The only DVD player I have is my PS2. :(

I'll buy one after I've got my new car, though. :D

Iv got a Geforce ti and i dont think the quality is that great of dvds on my pc.

dude, a video out means u can cannot ur pc to ur tv, meaning tv quality dvds.

Ya but it looks even worse when i put it out to my TV.I auctley called my PCs Company and they told me not to even put it out to my TV that it was a waste of time.
