Game save and controller issues

Ok im new to emulators so be easy on me. First the only game that I currently have is Majora's mask and it will not save my game. I load the rom and my file is there but I have to start from the beginning agian.

Also I wanted to know if I could use my 360 controller with the game some how. I plugged my wired one into my computer and it loaded the device and everything and I go to options and then comfig controller plugin it shows up and I saved my settings and clicked the controller is on box but it just wont work.

Help for any of these would be great, thx!

Please search the board if you want help on that X360 controller of yours. There have been probably a few hundred people asking the same thing you are asking now.

I figured out my problem with the save but thx for the help and ill look around on some stuff for my controller.
