View Full Version : Preview edition going too fast

I thought I would never be able to say this with my cr@ppy computer but...1964 2nd PE is too fast. The problem is with games like mario and goldeneye they go too fast. Not only the graphics but sound. I tried to use the 60 fps limit but it didnt work (Mario goes 100 fps at some points in the game). The wierd thing is with goldeneye the intro will go way too fast, but then the ingame will be slow. So what do I need to do to stabilize the speed? Ive been using CF=2 and i still get fast results.

Can you post the preview edition. Because the link on ngemu is dead. Please post the file. Then I look why it is going too fast.

You cant fix it, its a known problem with the unofficial pre-release 2 build, it has a speed sync/limiter problem. You'll just have to wait for the next release which has fixed this problem, in the mean time you can try adjusting the CF= (counter factor) or use v0.7.3

You can also try using the sunc audio function in the sound plugin.
