Whenever I load a ROM,everything works fine, control, audio, speed.Except graphics, nothing is appearing onscreen. Here's Basic hardware info in case that's the problem: (The computer hasn't been modified or upgraded since purchase.)

OS:Windows XP home edition version 2002 service pack 2.
Hardware: DELL DIMENSION DIM4600, Intel(R) Pentium(R) 4 CPU 2.40GHz,2.39 GHz,256 MB of RAM

Please respond if possible.

What is you graphics card or chip? Because it sounds like another case of Intel graphics.

It is indeed a case of what you call "Intel Graphics" (please do clarify,I'm quite a noob). The graphics hardware is Integrated Intel Extreme Graphics 2.Does this mean I would be forced to switch it with something else?

Intel's integrated chips lacks the necessary features for them to work with the default graphics plugin, so switch to Jabo's Direct3D6 plugin and try again. It would be a good idea to update the chip's drivers too, if you haven't done so yet.
