I'm wondering if there is a way to play POP: Two Thrones at 1280x1024. I used a fix for Sands of Time and Warrior Within, but I can't find anything on this one.

Not sure if it is supported by PoP:TT but some games let you edit the config file manually to get the resolution that you want/need. Might be worth a try

The config file only has like five or so lines, and doesn't have resolution entries :(

Then there is no way to play it at 1280x1024. Is that such a huge setback anyway?

Well, my LCD is 1280 x 1024 nattive, that's 5:4, at 4:3 resolutions it looks somehow stretched

You could try the black bars / pillar boxing approach. (For my setup at least) using nvidia's control panel turning off LCD scaling runs it non-squished / stretched but obviously smaller since it isn't scaled. My native resolution is 1280x1024 too :)

silly question, but how do I do that?

It's under the nvidia control panel options, screenshot is linked from here:

I actually goofed the linked post and said 1280x1024 is 4:3 hehe, pay no attention :P

I'm having this problem, except my monitor isn't a Phillips one, but I can't solve it :(

Is the monitor connected using DVI or a DVI-VGA adapter?

If i read the thread you linked to correctly (the last post) i think that may be why it doesn't work for you, not 100% sure though
