Problems with retexturing Zelda OOT

Hi,
as you already read, I have problems with retexturing Zelda.
First of all, i use Rice Video Plugin 6.1.1 beta 10, Pj64 1.6, Windows XP and Paint.NET.
Dumping the textures work quite well, but when i change them and want to load them into the game, it sometimes (not everytime) doesn't work.
I also tried all textures, because it sometimes dumpes the same in different folders, but it doesn't work.
One thing I thought of is that it is also importent, what bit-depth it has.
When I change .PNG files, i can choose between 8, 24 and 32 Bit.
What should I use, or could it have another reason?

You should have posted in the 1964 --> High Resolution Texture Projects Forum, seeing how custom textures aren't Project64 specific.
