"+" and "-" won't change my cpu speed?

I am running chankast on my laptop trying to play Rez. After messing with pretty much everything else I still can't get the game to stop lagging. I have been trying to over clock the cpu but because it's a laptop and doesn't have a separate
number pad, the regular + and - keys don't do anything. Any ideas?

Same thing is happening to me. I was playing Marvel vs Capcom 2, my frame rate in game was only 20-30 (with the Capcom hack), it's suppose to be 60-75.

Went ahead and used the on screen keyboard. It's a bit of a pain when in full screen but regardless it works. Thanks.
