I think that Legend Of Success Joe on the Neo-Geo could be a nice contender to that one. And of course the huge number of god-awful games that came out on the NES right when it was dying... Ohh, tough question. Either F1`99 *cough*F12000fromEAruled*cough* or the abysmal GT64. Which in actual fact became the designated `coffee mat` for use during that whole `Ocarina of Time` Xmas/New Year period (even though GT64 was rented). We refused to let it remain anywhere near the other N64 games.

Nah, EA's F1 games are pretty damn sweet. F1 97 was great too.. :D

But the Grand Prix series really did own.. ;)

Aye, Zelda 2 sucked imo as well. Zelda 2 As in the second Zelda on the 64. Heck, I hated all of the Zeldas except the OOT one, and eventually I thought that that one sucked as well :)
But I liked B&W, it was kinda neat... And Max Payne too, yeah, the story was ghey, but who gives a fuck about the story? The action was sweet.

before nintendo decided to make everything pokemon, pokemon was actually good. when i first played pokemon red and blue, they were good games. every monster was highly customizable and were still balanced (somewhat...).

Superman 64 is THE worst game I have EVER played. Well, it's not, but its pretty damned close. Virtual Chess 64 was utter shit too.

I dunno how you can say Majoras Mask was sucky though, I love that game :D

tracks - yup, they were good
control - acceptable
graphics - WORSE than mario64, u call that amazing? :P
gameplay - not even a sign of ai for the opponents, frustration factor high

result = sloppy :P

Well, OK. The tracks were pretty good, I'll admit there's some great stuff there. The control felt all wrong to me, it was too loose, not responsive enough. Could've just been my worn out old pad though;) As far as graphics go, I can understand them going with 2D sprites for speed reasons, but to have them look that bad? They were constantly blurred and out of focus, and you can see the nasty jagged edges. Yuck. The levels on the other hand, were very nice indeed:)

mario kart 64 can hardly be described as the worst game ever, but that said diddy kong racing was a lot better. besides, its all a matter of personal preferance, personaly i cant stand pokemen (for all i know the games might be great, but i dont intend to find out).

About half the Pokémon games are really great, fun and original. Red and Blue for example, they rocked. But then the other half are cheap cash-ins that are just there to bleed money from poor parents with young children. Yellow, Gold, Silver and Crystal would fall into that category ;)

As for the N64 games? Stadium is pretty good, but the novelty of seeing Blastoise and Charizard modelled in 3D dies after about an hour of playing. Unless you're one of the obsessive sorts who goes through the game and selects every damned Pokémon just to see what it looks like... then it might stretch to an afternoon ;)

Puzzle League I haven't played yet, but from what I've seen it looks like good old Tetris Attack got raped backwards by those damned Pichu. The end result most likely sucks, so I'll be sticking with the SNES version there too :p

Snap was a really, really lame game. Actually, was Snap even a game? I swear that thing lasted an afternoon at the most, and that's only cos I couldn't aim the damned Apples well enough to lure Pikachu to the Zapdos egg to turn the lights on in the Power Plant so I could take a photo of a bunch of shadows that looked something like a goddamn Pinser to unlock the 'secret level' and get a photo of a Mew. Whoop-dee-dooo!

So anyway, what was I saying? Forget it, Pokémon Snap sucks butt, that's all you need :D

the strange thing is that the underlying pokemon tv-series has some jokes that are too sophisticated for its target group to understand. :sly: (im not kidding) but imo the games were simply a way to milk more money out of the concept. not to think of all the trading cards, toys, [insert useless shit here] ... hell, what am i saying, pokemon as is is designed to milk money.

Same thing could be said about "Dexter`s Laboratory" and "The PowerPuff Girls", they have some real mature jokes in those shows, although they are intentionally made for kids. I like these kind of stuff, in video games too...
