How many ppl surf the net on the loo?

Just wondering if ppl play games or browse the net on the toilet. I got a ds browser and i probably spend more time than needed. In fact im here now typing this post, saving time. Actually i play the ds most of the time on the can, im not afraid to admit it. And no, i dont look at porn sites as images take too long to load anyway. :)

It's really nice and pleasant to know the person I may be replying to or chatting with is on the john pushing out a Fudge Brownie/Hershey kiss from some poor Mexican/Chinese food they ate the night before that didn't agree with them. :P

Me, I'm in my room at my computer when I type so no I don't type on the loo/toilet/john.

I honestly think it's quite disrespectful to be chatting or replying to someone while doing business. That goes for phone and online conversations.

I do not for several reasons. 1) i'm not (that) addicted 2) it's a hassle 3) germs, anyone? :P 4) what if you drop it in the water? and probably a few more.

There is at least one person at my job who takes his work laptop into the john with him. Overkill really, not to mention rather gross.

I'm not germophobic but I do try to keep up with basic sanitation :P

I surf the internet sometimes, but I prefer to play some game :)

I personally just play my DS while on the toilet. Once in a while I take my laptop in there, but not very often.

Well now that I think about it, electronics and de bathroom aren't a good mix.
Erstwhile I bring nothing other than me into the room in which I deposite. Well I wear cloths true :D

Seriously why play on the can? are you hiding from someone or just too busy with gaming on the can?

And you wonder why nintendo had so many interesting icons for the DS (such as no pouring water on the DS ... dunking the DS in a pool etc.) manual.

But why is it wrong? What's the difference between reading a book or magazine on the toilet as opposed to a digital device like a ds? Germs are germs and they don't discriminate.

At the end of the day if you don't wash your hands afterwards (preferably before the end of the day) then you only have yourself to blame. Don't forget your keyboard or mouse isn't free of germs either. In fact it's crawling with them. And people usually snack at the computer. I know I do.

As for ettiquette, you're only posting in a forum, not having a video/voice conversation. Even instant messaging is OK. It's not like the other person knows where you are and even if they do they can only blame their own vivid imagination.

People talk and text on the toilet all the time, it's now the norm like using a mobile phone (cellar) while driving and at least it's not illegal. It is common courteousy, though, to cover the speaker when you squeeze out a big one so the other person won't hear the plop! :)

As for fears of dropping your device into the toilet, where the hell are you sitting? Are you a midget size leprechaun with his feet dangling over the bowl? And if you're stupid enough to hold the device over the toilet then you're just asking for trouble and you shouldn't be allowed to wipe your bum in the first place. :P
