Help a fighting game noob

The title pretty much says it. I never been that into fighting games but I’m starting to get into them. I only own two games tekken 5 and a used copy of soul caliber 2 I recently bought, and I will probably end up getting soul caliber 3 eventually. So anyone have any game recommendations or tips for some one new to the genre?:bouncy:

Were seeing a greater number of these quasi-spammers. You'll notice that they always create very generic threads ("what fighting game is best?"), the type which typically turn into lengthy discussions, all designed to get more people to notice the signature.

I have signatures disabled so I completely miss these things. :P
