Dr. Mario 64

Is there any setting for Dr. Mario 64 to work at least good anough to play the story mode?

I'm using PJ64 1.6 and I've tried every plugin to date. Best results are with Jabo's D3D8 1.6 where I can play the classic mode, but other modes can't be played since the whole screen scrambles as soon as the round starts.
Is there any help?

Try using 1964 + Rice's Video.

1.7 is still in Beta, and it's really buggy on my PC. For example, Majora's Mask is running on max 30 FPS.

Like it should. The NTSC version runs at 30 fps internally.

Did you mean FPS or VI/s?
Check the bar at the bottom for PJ64, where it usually says "FPS". In truth, it's VI/s.

Sure it does, it lets the user know that it has already been addressed and fixed.

now go back to your whinecube testing and leave us PJ64 people alone.

Wow no need to get offensive there,If he is asking if there is settings which could fix problems you cant just say that "ye it works in next version just wait for it" because that isnt information what he wanted actually
