I just finished watching this movie, and I am totally amazed. This movie brings to life with those who actually live with schizophrenia have to experience everyday. The massive achievement of this individual can only be remarked as amazing (if this story is in fact 100% true). Those who have not already seen the movie your missing a truly great one, and bring your girl friend guys, its a movie you'll get points with and a movie that you'll actually enjoy.
Anyways just wanted to bring that to everyone’s attention :)
PS: Russell Crowe R0X0R :D

Not so much skipped as consolidated parts of Nash's life.
Here is a short bio (http://www.chron.com/cgi-bin/auth/story.mpl/content/chronicle/ae/books/9899/07/26/beautiful.html) that will give you some idea. That bio motivated me to read the book. The book was great, and so was the movie.
Crowe got shafted out of the Best Actor Oscar. I actually respect Denzel more, but its not even CLOSE to his best work. Crowe did a fantastic job in ABM and Howard just keeps on getting better.
