You don't have to use Glide64. I am using Jabo DirectX plugins from PJ64 on my V3, it works great.

I had a Voodoo3 and it worked with Jabo's D3D6 1.40 (apart from some texture- and lighting glitches)!

I have Voodoo Banshee
My hole machine hangs when I use Jabo's DirectX pugins.
Only Aerogauge and Centre Court Tennis work for me.

Glide64 is great plugin.I wait for next release.

I have a Duron 1.2Ghz with a Voodoo 3 2000, and most emulators are slowish, diddy kong racing is the only game I can run at full speed on PJ64 with jabo's plugin at the moment, dunno why, the others are just choppy.

1964 runs it as well, but too fast.. odd. an example of choppyness, I can play banjo-kazooie on 1964 and it runs ok on mumbos mountain and the witches lair and spiral mountain, but gets slower after that...

I dunno if its my Voodoo 3 or my CPU

This cannot be releated to your CPU since it's fast enough to run games full-speed all the time.

Donno if it is related to you voodoo3. I am using v3 on my PIII-600, I guess your PC should be much faster than mine in anyway. You could use lower resolution to play games, using 640x480 instead of 1024x768, or you can use full screen mode.
