I was wondering, 'cuz in my 0.8 version, the emulator sometimes hangs when accessing the audio-plugin configuration. Known or not? Or is it just me?
Also, it seems kinda weird, but in Megaman64 (yes, in the new version, 0.8), the emulator hangs at a moment and just shows a black screen. This has happend at another moment, so I just suppose it's pj? Since I imported a save from it.

It is not a known issue. Need to be looked at.

Well I guess this is the right thread to be in.
Well, when I start 1964 PR2 (yes, my own compile :P ) and tell it to run Zelda OoT it will crash right after the "press start" screen. An error message pops up, something like "the memory location hex 0 referenced at hex 0 can't be read".
Null pointer assignment? :P
P.S. BTW if I save in the name screen in PJ64, and import the save into 1964, it works fine. Just that one place on entering the name screen. Never seen this before, even in 0.7.x... Known or ?
P.P.S. It's a good rom (1964 reports it as 1.0 U ! it's been checked with GoodN64, and runs fine in all other emus supporting it.)

I get this too. And so I've become gun shy of accessing any settings during a pause.
I go through the trouble of stopping emulation then changing things.
Not to mention the annoying sound loop I'm forced to listen to, if I dont stop emu. (or is THAT just me?)

For clarification, this is the first error:

...After clicking OK this one pops up and then 1964 closes.
Note that this only happens on loading Zelda 64's save select / enter name screen. All other games work fine, and Zelda plays fine if I bypass it with a PJ savestate. Never seen this on 0.7.x .

r we even supposed to report bugs of 0.8.0?
the way its named 'prerelease' seems to tell us not to say anything about it, just play around with it.

Pre-release I think, says pretty much nothing about not to report bugs. I mean, if we report bugs, they may be fixed in the real release of 0.8 :)
