First q: NRage's plugin allows you to use the mouse, not sure about the latest version but earlier versions of his input plugin has this option. http://go.to/nrage
Second q: Jet Force Gemeni has a high system requirement and unless you are experiating slow gameplay on a fast computer there is nothing that you can do to improve sound since it's CPU dependant, i.e fast computer - good sound, slow computer - bad sound. Azimer's plugins are generally faster on slower systems and could give you a boost in performance but if sound is hindering the gameplay turn it off. If you are using Jabo's Directsound plugin try unchecking Sync audio to gameplay .

when i use the emulator theres no controls, and when i go to settings to change the plugin it goes
Failed to load (the name and path of the plugin).dll
it goes thru all the imput plugins that are there and in v1.4 the only imput(controller) plugin i can get is the Adaption Plugin v1.0
