Damn thing is pretty fast, too. Of course that's due to it having 200gb per platter.

Neat. I'm not that interested in the cutting edge of hard drive capacity, but perhaps it will drive the prices down on smaller drives. (I keep hoping we'll see a good 500GB drive drop to around $100. :P)

There are some external Seagate 500gb at newegg for $140, it's getting close ;)
EDIT: err, $150 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16822148172

Yeah, you can get an internal one for about $130, but a little closer to $100 (like, say, exactly $99.95) would be perfect!

With the tech they got now, why aren't there 300gb SATA raptor drives out? Note I said SATA, I'm not counting the SCSI drives :P
