ok, im doing an essay on america and their involvement in the middle-east. its going ok...can someone tell me wat did the USA use afghaninstan for in the gulf war, i forgot? just need a quick answer, and hurry, this essay, plus an analysis on the essay needs to be in in 2 days.

One word, followed by more words... Think oil. If I am not mistaken USA's primary reason for stepping into Afganistan was to help Russia secure their pipelines in Afganistan / draw pipelines through Afganistan instead of surounding countries, former USSR republics. I know this isn't what you asked fore but I got this sudden need to show my vast knowledge...

that'll do. cheers. im sorta chatting about their involvement in israel/palastine, and then talking about how they abandoned afghanistan, and wat that led to...also adding some conspiracy theories in as well.

ok this a real dumb ass question. wat was the year when the israeli prime minister and arafat shook hands in front of clinton and who was the israeli prime minister?? i have serious memory blocks.

The year was 1993, and the Prime Minister was Yitzhak Rabin.
