Gun Valkyrie looks so so so sweet..
But I'm so gutted it's on XBox.. :p
I wanted to know what you all felt about Sega making different games for different consoles. Good thing? Or should they make the same games for each of the next-gen machines?

I think it's a good idea.
Why?
They bring all their l33t superb games to GameCube.
They dump their crap to XBOX and PlayStation2.
Can it get any better? :colgate:

This game owwwwwwwwwwwwwnz (I played at my boss' he got a bit pissed with me hogging it)
anyway the problem with Sega making so many games for so many consoles is that the good stuff is getting spread thinly, part of me wishes M$, Sony or even Nintendo had just bought them out so that all of the games remained on one console, this platform agnostic crap is getting thin, pick a damm console and stick with it,
but in reality they would like to work with Nintendo since they're old rivals and they have a similar ethic towards innovative games, they don't want to do it for the PS2 because developing for it is so hard but they have to for the large market share and the money, they don't mind the X-Box but it's got crap sales in Europe and in Japan,

It's just killing me to see sweet games like Jet Set Radio Future, Gun Valkyrie, and House of the Dead 3 go to M$.. :(

you have to play GunValkyrie, although it isn't worth just buying an X-Box for at current prices.

What I don't get is people say they buy consoles because of BETTER GAMES so not many people borght a DC cos supposedly "The games wern't as good as PS2" And now people get excited cos Sega is making games for their system - I cannot understand why people can't be more open minded and buy stuff for the games and not loyalty. I had a NES (Nintendo) then Mega Drive (SEGA) Then Saturn (SEGA) then N64 and now have X-Box and despite what people say it is quality - Project Gotham, Halo, Jet Set Radio and Dead or Alive ROCK!

I think people who are "INFORMED" about games have one. It is just idiots that stuck with the PS brand that don't

the DC was the best system to own back in the day, i own 2 (ones imported). and i still think its one of the best systems to own because of soul calibur alone.

I still don't have a PS2 - because originally it wasn't GOOD enough, however now it is finally picking up steam it looks good so I will get one!
And Jaz Why no X-Box - is it price - It is the same price as the PS2 when it was released and has a lot of potential - Look at the games

i bought GunValkyrie like 2 weeks ago and i only played it for like 20min. ive been way to distracted with King's Field and Virtua Fighter 4 to play it.
i might try to get into it later. hopfuly the gameplay will pick up a bit.

OK. XBox is waaaaay too expensive (I'll not go into `it's too big, the pad is awful, etc`), and I only want it for one game. Secondly, I only bought a PS2 because I got it for £100..
DC is still my love though.. :D
Until 3rd May, however.. ;)

the jet pack manovers were pretty cool but kinda hard to pull off at first (would be alot easier with a dual shock 2). but i'll get used to that damned controller before to long now that im finally buying games for the system.

April 7th, 2002, 22:01
yeah that's the thing you see I'll want to buy at least two "S" (for small, or rather normal as most people think ;) ) controllers but then I'd still prefer the Dual shock 2 controller
imo the DC controller is as big as you should go.

Well, about X-Box prices, I read on Gamespot that you can get one for about 140$ at Germany, I can`t even remember what town. They offer it with some kind of a bundle.
Jaz
April 7th, 2002, 23:25
Yeah, I liked the DC controller..
You can get a converter that lets you use Dual Shock 2 on XBox though, can't you?
