Importing saves to Ver. 1.6

I have updated to version 1.6 from 1.5 and was wondering if it is possible to play zelda using a saved state from the old version?

When i start Zelda on version 1.6 i have to start from the beginning :(.

yes the saved states format has not changed i believe.

i've used project64 from 1.4 to 1.6 and never had an issue with save states between the versions

So what exactly should i do?

I dont see an option to import saves to the new version???

just load them as you would normally.

theres documentation provided with PJ64 on how to load save states manually.
