problem with project64

Project64 plays very slow on my computer. My configuration is:

Win XP
1.1gig celeron
512 memory
trident 3dBlade 16mb video card

I know the video card is not the best but it is a laptop and I can't upgrade the hardware. Is there anything I can do to make it play right. Ive also tried UltraHLE and SupraHLE and both when I run the emulator say "Error Loading Rom." If anyone could help me it would be very much appritiated. Thanks,

easy 1. its ur gfx card, its a load of cow shite. try updating the drivers for the card, but i doubt its gonna improve things much. if i was u, i would fork out £/$ 40 on a new gfx card like a geforce MX which can be found very cheaply secondhand, and sometimes even new. that'll sort out all probs with pj64, and other normal pc games might become more playable.

and btw, u should post in the pj64 forum, it means people will be able to help u better.
