I recently got Sonic Adventure DX for the PC and I was really anxious to play it. There's a problem, though. The music doesn't play! The other sounds load fine, but the music doesn't.

What version do you have? I don't remember having a problem when I play it. Maybe you should try to install again and see if that help.

This game uses wma's for its music, make sure you got the latest up to date codecs for Microsofts crappy music/video format.
Install Windows Media Player 10 that should fix it, methinks.

I have Windows Media Player 10 installed. They play when you open them with it, but don't when you play the game...

Also, if you're using a no-cd (naughty!) It still wants cd2 to be present in the drive - That's where the music is stored (This would be the one you installed the game with).

Yeah, I still have the second CD in. I can't play it without it in.
