OoT - game crashing when escaping with Epona.

I fixed the graphics problem yesterday by upgrading to PJ64 v1.6.

Unfortunately, now that I'm trying to get Epona off the ranch, every time I jump the gate or fence (I've done it a few times now) I get a full white screen, nothing else. After the white screen - nothing induces a response from the game. I have to ctrl+alt+del to end task and restart.
