I downloaded Super Mario64, and Mario Party 3 for 64 and I am currently using Project64 Verions 16. It was working pretty good the first few times I used it and then I started getting "Emulator errors", also I would get an error saying that "The Emulator graphics need to be reinstalled" or something and then I would click O.K. and LimeWire would start up, this would happened repeatedly. Now everytime I open a ROM whehter it's Super Mario or Mario Party 3 it freezes and I have to close it. Also I had another question what does the FPS on my bottom right hand corner mean? Could this have anything to do with it? If somebody can please help, thank you.

FPS means frames per second, what graphics plugin are you using and what are your system specs?

The FPS displayed in Project 64 is not Frames Per Second, but Fields Per Second. Check your ROM with GoodN64, and try reinstalling the emulator (and make sure it's the latest version, 1.6).

LIMEWIRE :|

Tha is Java based is it not

IF SO CLOSE IT!

you will have problems running any Dx and Opengl games, and if you have'nt then you are lucky. but IT WILL CAUSE A PROBLEM WITH PJ64

to work around this, don't have any Java apps open while using PJ64 (OR ANY GAME)

to fix this bug!
uninstall Java 2 1.5, and install Java 2 1.6 beta 2 :)

Java 1.5 was the first version of java to have acess to hardware features, and this causes the api to be locked

Java 1.6 fixes this by adding a when called define function i believe, whch means the applet only acesses the hardware if it is coded to take advantage of hardware acceleration

and remove the first line of your post

you are not allowed to post where you got roms from.

As you can tell I'm new to Project64 and this message board, but all I had to do is configure by graphic plugins.

Sorry Toasty. :(

Java based apps based when run on Java 1.5, cause issues for all Dx and Opengl games
