Judging by the prices they're going for on eBay, quite a few people I'd imagine.

no offence, mr. confused, but i think people who use adaptoids are more for n64 emulators than gamecube emulators...
Here's something that might enlighten you a bit more... (http://www.wishtech.com)

lolWell from what I can tell from his querry I suspect he is contemplating the manufacture of said device.
The first difficult part of making an Adaptoid is the connector to the controller.
The protocol is known (between N64 and controller) so it's not a big deal to implement using modern USB 2.0 compliant devices from Cypress(1 (http://www.cypress.com/portal/server.pt?space=CommunityPage&control=SetCommunity&CommunityID=209&PageID=215&gid=9&fid=16&category=All&showall=false) 2 (http://www.cypress.com/portal/server.pt?space=CommunityPage&control=SetCommunity&CommunityID=209&PageID=215&gid=9&fid=13&category=All&showall=false)), Atmel (http://www.atmel.com/dyn/products/product_card.asp?part_id=3521) and or Microchip (http://www.microchip.com/ParamChartSearch/chart.aspx?branchID=111&mid=10&lang=en&pageId=74) (to name a few).
The second difficult part is USB compliance. They'll hunt you down if you don't go for there testing and have the USB logo for saying it is a USB device. This has happened with blue tooth and USB 'manufacturers' :)

We used to sell them until we no longer could get them from our supplier (ztnetstore) and they were our bestseller by far, we sold hundreds in a short time.

Yeah I lub mine... which was free! WOO!
I know plenty of people who'd be after one, so if there is a supplier out there I got customers :matrix:

Hell I'd buy one in heartbeat. I've had too many problems with these chauncy Boom adaptors. None have worked in FIVE of my N64 controllers.... Check my previous posts.

I've got one, and I've been waffling back and forth between "sell it for CASH!" and buying another one no matter how much it takes. The thought has occurred to me that when I retire my old PC next spring (I tend to build new PC's only when MS releases new versions of Windows), with two adaptoids and using the TV-out, I could make a helluva nice "console."
