I've been using PJ64 for a little while, been through the RDB and as many of the related issues topics as I care to. My problem is, if I freshly install PJ64, the game Hydro Thunder works fine, but if I load a different game and try Hydro Thunder again it freezes as soon as it loads to 100%, and the screen stays black. That one game stays this way till I reinstall PJ64. I find this strange, but from what I have read, each time you load a game it changes the emulator or something along those lines. I doubt there's a way to fix it, but thought I would ask. Is there anyway around this? It's one of the few crashes I encounter, Pj64 doesn't freeze but the game does. I can get it to work on 1964, using the PJ64 video plugins, but no sound on 1964. Kinda disappointing as it was a rare boat racing game, I loved it back in the day, in the arcade.

Post your computer specs. Also, make sure that you are using a good rom.

Hydro Thunder (U) was also recently redumped, so make sure it is validated by GoodN64 3.11 (and not the previous version).

Ok, Thanks for the replies, think maybe I got a bad or old rom. Anyways I updated my profile so my pc specs should be on here now. My pc is pretty old compared to todays pc's, but it's still plenty fast enough for most of PJ64, other than my favorite 64 game, 007 Goldeneye, but thats ok. I'll see if I can find a good hydro thunder rom.
.........Or maybe it won't update my profile and show my specs.....hmmm. Shoot.

Well I couldn't find an option to enable viewing of my pc specs, in the profile options, but I put a sig on there, so maybe it will show up. Anyway I found out it was a bad rom I had, and now it works fine, no more freezes, tried it a few times and no problems. Thanks for the help.
