Hey, Someone put this in a hidden my computer file at my school. I play super smash bros and mario cart in my buisness and accounting classes. I am just wondering if there is a way for me to get this on my home computer without paying. I tried downloading the 1.5 versions and there werent any games on it. So how do i get the games?

You aren't supposed to play games during your business and accounting classes. It is illegal to bundle copyrighted works (games) with emulator, if you didn't know.
Also, read the board rules before you short time here runs out.

No, I wasnt talking about "stealing" the games I was just wondering if the site offered games with the older version because I would have no way to pay for the new one.

we don't offer commercial games to anyone, never have, never will.
the current version of the emulator, v1.6, is free, or people can donate for the 1.7 beta. whatever you use you have to get the games yourself, legally from your cartridges or otherwise from the internet. we do not condone or help with that.
hope this is clear.

Ok so what do you mean by my own cartridges? So if I typed in on google project 64 games I would be able to get them?

From your own cartridges in the sense that you get a copier, hook a N64 cart that you own to it and dump an N64 RM image. That's the legal way to play a game on an emulator.
Project64 is an emulator. There are no such things as Project64 games, only Nintendo 64 games.

A copier is a device that dumps the contens of a ROM chip inside a cartridge into a file (called a ROM image). These ROM images are used by emulators to emulate the game cartridges. You'll find copiers for sale on eBay for example.

BTW, we can't tell you where to get them either. as various laws still exist surrounding dumping image files from copyrighted carts
