For your controller I will recommend you to use the NRage plugin bundled with the emu, it even has Forcefeedback support.

Even when you have a DirectX9 compatible card please provide your specs to make a recommendation for it

Jabo's graphics plug-in is overall the best one, although Glide64 is on the verge of overtaking it. ;)

nvm about the controller plugin, my left analog stick dosnt work, but my video card is a ati 9600xt, i also have a laptop with ati express 200m graphics.
i thought glide64 was just for xgi volari cards?

Glide64 works for every card with a Glide wrapper. The wrapper translates all Glide funtions into OpenGL, so you don't have to have a Glide card for Glide64 to work.

ACTUALLY, agozer, i would recommend Jabo's plugin in this case as he is using an 9600... and Radeons of that series aren't known for good Opengl performance.
