pixel shader support

every time i try to play a rom the message no pixel shader support comes up how can i fix this ??

This is video plugin dependant. I'm guessing your gfx card is old. What is your specs? And try changing video plugin.

If you're using Rice's video plugin, go to the settings and make sure that it isn't set to use the pixel shader.
