Not sure if anyones seen this yet...

For anyone interested - to get rid of the multiplayer garbage video bug you can enable 'copy framebuffer to RDRAM' (configure graphic plugin -> advanced). This should cause the background to appear cleanly -- albeit at a notably slower clip. To speed the game back up, just pause the game and re-disable 'copy framebuffer to RDRAM'.

obviously you did, this is a known fix for the Dr Mario garbage bug.

I have since gotten it too work. What I want to know now is how to fix the slowdown it causes. I'm sure I've read about that somewhere...
