Dr. Mario 64 for the 1964 system

Hello,

I was hoping someone could help me get the multiplayer function working for dr/ mario 64 on the 1964 emulator. I've tried adjusting the settings but it always ends up the same way in the end the background get distorted and you can't see the pills drop. Please let me know if anyone can help.,
