Joystick help >.>

well, i went out to buy a joystick today as well as a flight simulator as ive always liked the idea of a joystick for gaming so after i had my fill of the flightsim i thought "what if i could play starfox64 with a joystick!!111!" since i love the game.
after some tinkering i thought i set the control to support the controller "logitech attack 3 model not sure if that matters" and... it doesent work. please bear with me im new to using joysticks

id apreciate any help or advice

use nrage 2.0, the latest version works mostly....

added the plugin, i see no diffrence in interface or anything at all for that matter.. what am i doing wrong?

go to options-->settings and select the new input plugin.

What exactly isn't working in Jabo's? Remember, you have to select the gamepad.

Did you actually make Project64 use the N-Rage plugin by selecting it as the active controller plugin in Options --> Settings --> Plugins?

sorry, should've explained the use of plugins better...
keep forgetting that not everyone likes to explore thier programs

first thing i do when i get a new program, i see what every setting, feature, option does.
