I was raised by the Sega Master System, my first game (mother) console. Before that it was Nintendo's game and watch thingies - i still got the original Donkey Kong! Then when i hit puberty it was the SNES, my first true love...The times we had together... Then i dumped the bitch for a Playstation and felt guilty ever since until i rediscovered her as an emulator (ZSNES baby!) Then i got hooked on Computer games, Quake 3, Unreal and one of my favourites, Eliteforce 2 which probably sounds old school to all you pros but i still like them! And now i rediscovered the joys of the 64 and i am in bliss!

I like them all equally. You forgot to put the xbox 360 on that list, the Xbox and the Xbox 360 is not the same console no matter what you might think.

I picked N64, though SNES and PSX were very close runners up.

The SNES and the Neo-Geo by far, although I love both Playstations as well.

DREAMCAST!! The first console with online support. If you don't select the DC, it is because you don't played in your life.

I had to say NES because i play it´s games to this day and i was too poor back then to get an SNES or a PSX, today i found that portable gaming suits my tastes better.

i didn't put the 360 b/c that's one of the new generation consoles, and they are too new to be considered the best ever..
why doesn't anyone else pick the PS??? ... it was so cheap.. and funny, and you had like bunch of games...:bouncy:

N64 is my favorite. (OoT, CBFD, and MM) PS2 barely losing. (Over 20 games now. :D) The SNES/NES/GEN isn't far behind either.

Super nintendo wins for me, though has the Neo Geo AES been on there, I think I may have picked it.

Sony PSX has the best good game/bad game ratio, in my opinion. N64 comes as a close second and SNES as the puny third. I mostly loathe consoles that predate NES and haven't laid my hands on the ones that came after N64/PSX gen, so I don't really know about them.

SNES with the NES following close. The SNES had my favorite games such as Chrono Trigger, Zelda Link to the Past, Mario World, and Megaman X. None of these new systems even come close to the SNES IMO.

Nintendo 64... reasons.... Super Mario 64, Mario Kart 64, Mario Tennis and Golf, Zelda OOT and MM, Goldeneye, Perfect Dark, Super Smash Bros, 1080 snowboarding, Diddy Kong Racing, Star Fox 64, Wave Race 64... ok I'm done. Close 2nd is the Genesis, following the Super Nintendo.
