What's behind your nickname???

just wondering... what's the story behind your screen name, or why are you called what you are?

as for me, Yegosimo is my artistic name, i made it up like a year ago.
it comes from the first two letters of my favorite music groups in that time, i'm not going to tell you which are they, but you can guess who they are by looking at my avatar...

so what about you guys ??

That's a tricky question... When it comes down to it i chose A.I. cos it sounded alot better than my former name, Blind One, which i chose on whim after i got hooked playin Turok:Rage Wars. After i got bored with Rage Wars (fast!) i discovered the joys of Perfect Dark and suddenly 'Blind One' didn't seem so fashionable anymore. I wanted something sci-fi, something hi-tek so since A.I. was one of my favourite movies i picked it. I changed 'intelligence" to 'IQ' to be more original.

The good thing with my name is i can put any pic of a robot (Or a politician) and it will still be relevant. As you can see by my avatar i like robots and the concept of A.I fascinates me. I'm still, however, looking for the perfect name; my soul name. When i find it the question of who i am will be answered. Until then I.m A.I. or IQ or Art or Arty, whatever just don't call me Blind One!

Incidently A is also the first letter of my real name and no its not Agozer!

BTW is it a concidence this thread appeared after i changed my name?

The tale behind my name is not for the weakhearted, one morn I woke up and a scroll was left on my door. "if you seek a name you must use the magic stick to find me" with the magic stick attached to the scroll. I was a bit skeptical at first but when I picked the stick up it pointed me north. I followed the stick for days walking and walking and walking and finally I was at the top of the largest mountain in Scotland.

"So you seek a name for yourself do you?" a wise man said. I replied "yes" very well... so he threw a sword at me and challenged me to a battle! First I used my MP to cast lightning on him. I couldn't do bugger all else until it was my turn again. He struck me and I lost 5 HP. I finally defeated him after 50 long turns which I spent most of the time casting cure on myself.

"You have what you seek" the crazy wise man said... and "ScottJC" I was from then on there.

Scott is my first name, J is my middle initial and C is the first letter of my last name. You decide which story is better :D - I thought just posting the previous sentence would've been boring.

Just a nickname I was toying around with. My name is Stephan and as you probably know now my nick is Stez :P just added an o on the end and it was around 2000 when I started registering for forums and such like so thus the 2k. And It stuck ever since

Mine is actually a nickname given to me by friends years ago for being a Gentleman.
My Nick was originally The Gentleman here ET and later on i changed it for Gent which is short for Gentlemen and also a wonderful Town in Belgium that i adore.

My friend and I were just thinking up random stuff one night several years ago when my friend glansed at at his monitor which read "HP Ergo Pro ... ". Right there on that spot he decided to call me Argo as a joke.

As time passed, Argo turned into Agozer for no apparent reason, except maybe because he said it needed more Z's and some edge.

Well, first i must say that i use WhiteX on every single board i go, so if you ever bump into some WhiteX somewhere it is very likely to be me.

My name came on a time that i was using anothe screen name "H-Buster", being H the first letter of my middle name and X-Buster, the weapon of Megaman X, so i was H-Buster, the thing is that "H" is also in Brazil the first letter of the word we use for "Man" so in brazilian l33t speak, H is man and that kinda putted me on some ackward gay spot, come on, man-buster!

So i decided to change that, i decided to use the most powered form of my Hero, Megaman X, the "White Armored X", and that was a real disaster too, so i took out the "armored" part and kept the capitalization, so WhiteX, hero of the masses!!!

The full username is actually KingVenderSnatch.

Some forums have a limit to usernames (such as this one) so I used to just take out the second e in Vender but now I just use kvs and sometimes I go by svk.

Though if your going to call me by name I tell people to just call me Vend.

Mine is BlueFalcon7, for Blue Falcon, as in captin falcon, because I used to like F-Zero, and the 7 was because his number was 7. But I chose BlueFalcon7 because it had sort of a ring to it, and it sounded like a cool screen name. I made it way back when I was in 7th or 8th grade as my first real email address, and I thought the name sounded cool so stuck with it ever since. In fact my avatar was a texture ripped out of SSBM.

As for my first email address, I used to have dialup, and AOL was my dialup provider. We installed DSL at my new house about a year before we moved in, and it took us forever to move in, so I have had dialup until april. But beside the point, AOL gives these stupid parental blocks, and parental controls, so when I get emails, my parents can see what Im doing, which used to piss me off, and I didnt know how to get past them until the end of 7th grade, so I could get to yahoo (because yahoo was blocked)
