either

1) stop two threads being created with same title within e.g. 1 hour

or

2) stop a user creating more than one thread within e.g. 1 hour

i'd like both :D

well thanks for reading anyway

I've seen a forum that disables the submit button when creating a new thread / or replying I think, so you cannot post twice? And correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't there an option to select the time that must elapse before a user makes a new reply / thread?

I believe that would be Flood Control.

We could also use a limit to userbars and sig space so we donīt get signatures like that one of Zion, huge.

a totaly different feature I would love, could already exist, is if I do a search for new threads/thread changed today then exclude certain forums.

Like I do not care about Chankast or Dolphin forum :)

Sure.:P

We could limit it to one userbar per user, so if you want multiple userbars, get a morphing one.

Hmm I think disallowing multiple same title threads is a good idea, but the time restriction may be annoying, cos there may be a time when you have several thread seriously worth putting up at once, though this wouldn't be often ;)

hey Smiff.
1) Yes.
2) No! Never, please.

I agree to both, one thread per user an hour is more than enough too.

I don't agree - if any / all topic are valid, then the user should be allowed to make them without any restrictions.

I think the first one is a good idea. Nay on the second.
