Ok i currently use Project64 1.6 and was wondering whats the best N64 Emulators/plugins out there and how can i get the best looking quality out of the roms?

System Specs

3.6Ghz Intel Xeon Processor
2gigs of ram
2 Nvidia 6800Ultras (SLI)

is there any way to run the Roms with 16X AA and 16X AF and with high RES textures?

Any help would be great.

The default plugins should suffice. If you want to use the high resolution texture packs, you need to use Rice's Video plugin.

Yes, set FSAA and AF in the graphics plugin settings.

1964 --> High Resolution Texture Projects forum.

Why not? Graphics plugins are interchangeable between emulators.

If you force it through the nvidia control panel, sure. I guess.

Yes, it does. But you may need to copy some dlls from 1964's directory in order to use them. Does it say it's missing any dlls?

High res textures are in a subforum in the 1964 forum: http://emutalk.net/forumdisplay.php?f=110

With the RiceVideo6.1.1beta10 plugin i get these errors

Project 64 - Failed to load plugin RiceVideo.dll
Falied to load plugin RiceVideoDbg.dll

1964 - 1964.exe - Unable To Locate Componet - The application has failed to start
because bmglib.dll was not found. Re-installing the application . may fix this problem

Is there any to fix this? Also when i try to force 16X AA / 16X AF through nvidia controll panel it dosent seem to do anything?

Make sure that RiceVideo.dll is in the plugins folder and Bmglib.dll is in the same folder where the emulator executable is located.

Best looking quality in my opinion is the default project64 plugins in high-res, I don't believe high-res textures are better than the original ones... its a matter of opinion but no high-res texture pack so far has looked better than the originals, might be sharper but theres much to be desired.
