Surge protection

Hey, I'm looking for RJ45 (network LAN) stand alone surege protection. I know many UPS has this included, but I already have one, and it doesn't have it. So I'm looking for smaller and cheaper solution. What do you guys recommend?

I don't see why you would need one, because unlike AC lines and phone lines, ethernet isn't run over powerlines.

My mobo an CPU were fried because of the modem, that's why my UPS didn't work, the modem was fried as well, because the surge was coming from the line. AFAIK ADSL comes with the phone line, and then the splitter sends the data to the router and to the phone.

So the best bet is a phone line surge protection, here in Brazil we use RJ-11, or 21 dunno, and they are very cheap.
