I'm tired that when I plugsomething that is USB 2.0 capable in a USB 1.1 port, a pop-up appears telling me something like "This Device could work faster"
Of course I know that, but every time I plug something the damn thing appears again and again. For the record I know I can get rid of the pop-ups getting an USB 2.0 add-in card or upgrading the rig. But for now, I only want to get rid of the pop-ups, any help would be appreciated...

I used to have that problem, Im not very good with my spanish, but I know what that is. I used to have a computer with USB 1.1, and I wuld plug in my iPod into it. sometimes it would go away when I unplug the device, and plug it back in. Other times I would "safely" remove it, restart the device, and plug it back in. The most annoying thing I had to do, is restart my computer and the device if it was like an iPod or something. Usually it just goes away when I ignore the message, or X it out.

I already said that I know that my mobo is not USB2.0 capable, so no BIOS or dirver will do a miracle. The Yegosimo's answer was the solution, but I'm enabling tooltipos again because that disable a los of tootips I need. there on the taskbar...
