Ok this my be a very silly Question, but have you Assigned your Pad or maybe left it on Keyboard settings or something ?
Because i can move just fine on 1964 _073 & both 08 prerelease 1 & 2

i start up banjo and load a save state and than i try to move banjo useing the up, down, left, and right keys , but nothing happens!! same thing with every input plugin i try!!!

Banjo - Kazooie works perfect for me. I am using 8.0 also.

Did you configure the input right?
I mean, did you set the control stick and not the D-Pad?

loading a state might do that. it happened to be before when i was importing pj64 savestates. the only remedy i know is to make the state again.

Yes, this has happend to me as well, when loading an exported save on pj. Might be the same way around. Did you import a pj state?
