GTA 4 Screenshot?

With my work as a GTA Fansite owner/writer/designer/coder/everythingelse-r then I get a lot of fan art submitted to me. However, this one was different. It came from "A disgruntled Rockstar Games employee". Take a look. Could it be GTA4? The filename - gta4.jpg was certainly an indication of this.

Looks pretty good if its a fake, a female player? That'll take the pick up whores element out of the game... unless its male whores.

Well Rockstar have denied all knowledge.


Rockstar says that an image circulating around web-forums this afternoon, supposedly showing a TV screen running a debug version of Grand Theft Auto IV, is a hoax.

The image, which you can see below, first showed up in the inboxes of various media organisations this morning under the subject line "From a disgruntled ex-employee of Rockstar..."

And initially Rockstar didn't have much to say about it, fuelling speculation it was an actual shot of Grand Theft Auto IV, which is due out on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 next October - as announced at E3.

Rockstar could just be covering their tracks, however.
