darkness in star fox 64

this is rehashing an old thread but star fox 64 gets very dark

i've read the old posts and it seems like no solution was ever found

if someone knows of a solution, that would be great

otherwise i'm just going to buy the game

A known issue. Some graphics plugins (like Jabo's) have a brightness slider. Use it.

did that but the slider doesn't help much, i'm using a laptop so maybe that's a factor?

no in laptop there are no isues (or you got a bad screen) but with a program like adobe gama you can ajust the gama of the screen for starfox
or just play on a tv because starfox is a game for tv, it isn t dark on it !
(its an normal isue on some n64 game...)

It's not "normal" for Star Fox 64 to be that dark. Well, normal on the emulator at least.

thanks for the replies, i just sucked it up, it's only really bad on the underwater level

the under water is realy dark too in n64 but this issu is in all n64 emulator...(tryed pj64(old and new )1964, ultra hle witha lots of plugs and there was the same problem in all of them.
