Every time I download and try to install ver. 1.6, it gives me an error 1335 with the message Data1.cab is corrupt. I've downloaded and tried 3 times now. Can any one help with my problem?

have you checked the hash on the installer? please do.
if the installer checks out, its probably a problem with the Windows Installer service on your PC. the current version of this (Free update from MS) is 3.1 i think - check you have all the windows updates from MS.
final resort, you could install pj64 on another computer and copy the directory to yours..

I checked the hash and it's different from the one you said. What should I do now?

well you definately have a corrupt install file then.. try downloading again, try a different site like er umm.. try mine http://www.smiff.clara.net/emulators/pj64/setup_Project64_1.6.exe
i've just checked that file and the one on pj64.net, both good.
if this continues you may either have network problems or memory problems on your computer (RAM or storage). not good sorry.

I downloaded it from your site and it did'nt give me the .cab error (but I got a error writing to the reg, prob cause i'm not admin) Anyways, thanks for all your help man!
